Samosa Making Workshop & Wine Tasting at Canalside

In collaboration with Canalside Farm and Grove Estate Wine, Chickle hosted a unique evening where guests discovered the art of samosa making, paired with hand-selected wines.

 

The event was a sell-out success, filled with laughter, learning and flavour.

Introduction to Spices

Wine tasting with Grove Estate: vineyard practices, varietals, tasting & pairing

Guided step-by-step samosa making — from dough to folding

Preparing the vegetable filling

Folding and assembly of samosas

During the workshop, guests learned how to make samosa dough from scratch, prepare a spiced vegetable filling, and master the folding and assembly of samosas.

 

The experience was elevated with a guided wine tasting by Grove Estate, where participants explored vineyard practices, varietals, and perfect pairings.

 

To finish, everyone enjoyed their own handmade creations alongside expertly matched wines and great company.

Canalside Farm

Canalside Farm, Shop and Café is located in a beautiful conservation area just a few miles outside the county town of Stafford. Nearby to the historic Great Haywood Junction where the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal meets the Trent and Mersey.

Grove Estate Vineyard

Grove Estate is a small award winning,  family run vineyard, owned by Rob and Liz Grove with three generations actively involved in the business and operations. A Single Estate producer, releasing between 2,000-3,000 limited bottles a year.
